I sometimes feel that the number of disposable items has increased recently, and new disposable products are appearing one after another especially cleaning utensils which are being changed to disposable type. I don't like this trend. There are many kinds of disposable products, like ballpoint pens, towels, toothbrushes, paper cups, plates, cameras and many others. There are almost too many to mention.
Of course, it is true that they are convenient and clean because after we used them, the only thing we have to do is throw them away.
But it's clear that they are not environmentally friendly products. And more importantly, this trend shows people do not care about the environment.

I don't like the idea of disposable cleaning utensils either, but I have to admit that I sometimes use them. I think that it's too bad that so many disposable chopsticks are used in Japan.
