#157 Ecology and economic development.
こんにちは。
12月に入って一段と寒くなりましたね。
街はクリスマス一色で賑やかになってきました。
2015年も残り20日余り、 やり残したことが無いよう過ごしたいですね(^^)

Ecology and economic development.
The 3R's, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, can be called ecology. On the other hand, consuming products is necessary to sustain economic development. But making energy systems, for example solar power systems is good for both ecology and economic development.
And ecofriendly products have a better reputation nowadays. In fact, "eco" is one factor we think of when we select products. When we do something ecological, we need to think whether that is really good for the environment or now.
For example, some people say PET bottles should be thrown away without recycling because PET bottles helps
to burn rubbish. Thus we need to study more about what is good for ecology.
教師よりEcology and development is a difficult topic to write about but you did a good job here.I think at the moment we cannot balance these two needs. It may be a long time before economic growth can be eco-friendly at the same time.
