#161 If I could freeze time

0

    If I could freeze time

Time is always moving forwards into the future. And it never goes backwards into the past. The present becomes the past in the future. People tend to regret what they've done because time waits for no one, the stream flows on by. Everybody thinks that they wish they could go into the past to change something they regret, but they can't do that. That's why some people write a book about if they could travel into the future and the past. There are also films about time travel. You must have read and seen that.
It's something that everybody wishes for.
When I was thinking I should have done or shouldn't have done something, I'm dying to travel into the past and undo what I have done.
If I could freeze time. I sometimes think I wish I could freeze time. I think about this a lot when I don't make the last train.

Very interesting essay. Time only flows in one direction, forward. As you said, many people go through life with major regrets about their past, wishing that they could go back and change something. Becoming obsessed with the past is not productive, it's better to focus on the future and how you can change
